Effective July 29, 2026. These terms cover the public informational website at itsabudget.com.

Pre-release project

It's a Budget is a software project in development. This website does not currently offer software downloads, user accounts, financial-data connections, subscriptions, or a hosted budgeting service. Roadmap statements and previews may change and are not promises of delivery.

Informational use

Website content is provided for general information and does not constitute financial, accounting, tax, investment, or legal advice. You remain responsible for financial decisions and for independently verifying information relevant to them.

Intellectual property

The eventual source-code license will be published with the source code. Until then, the website content, project name, and brand assets may not be copied or presented in a way that suggests endorsement or an official release. No open-source license is granted merely by viewing this site.

Availability and warranties

The website is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the extent permitted by law, no warranty is made that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for a particular purpose.

Acceptable use

Do not attempt to disrupt the website, bypass security controls, introduce malicious code, impersonate the project, or use the site unlawfully.
